Madi Glatz will be the 12 Mizuno Head Coach for the 2023-24 season.

Glatz grew up in Central Illinois where she started playing volleyball in fourth grade. She played at Morton High School as a DS and setter.

Glatz continued her athletic career where she played volleyball and ran track at Augustana for four years from 2016-2020. She was a setter for the first two years and then transitioned to DS and libero for the last two years. After graduation in May of 2020, Glatz accepted a teaching position at Pleasant Valley Junior High where she immediately got into coaching for Pleasant Valley High School.

Glatz has coached the freshman volleyball team for the past three seasons and will coach sophomores this season. She is also a PV junior high track coach and helps out directing PVVBC. Glatz has coached 16 Reid, 11 Mizuno, and last year assisted with the Academy Program.

Glatz first got involved with Select because Frank was her coach at Augustana and had such a positive impact on her collegiate volleyball career that confirmed she always wanted to be a part of the sport. She is looking forward to this year’s new opportunity to develop young volleyballers love for the game!
