David Beach will be the Head Coach for 18 Black for the 2023-24 club season. Beach is currently in his second year as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Dubuque. During the spring of 2023, he was also an assistant coach for Loras College men's team.

Beach graduated from Loras College and got his degree in sports marketing and public relations. He was also a member of their men's team, where he held many roles. He has seen significant time as a setter, DS, serving sub, and opposite.

Beach is a native of St. Charles, Illinois, where he played football along with volleyball throughout his four years. He spends most of his free time watching as much volleyball as possible.
