Please welcome back to the family, Bailey Ortega, who will be helping train our high school setters during the club season! We can’t wait to have her back in the gym!

Bailey is currently playing volleyball at Louisiana State University. She also recently played for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Bailey attended Davenport North High School and is an Iowa Select alumni. She led Iowa in her freshman and sophomore season in assists. During her time at Davenport North she was a four-time all-conference honoree, along with all-metro, academic all-state, and all-district recognitions throughout her four years. In 2019, she was invited to the USA High Performance A1 training program and named to the top team playing in the USA HP Championships in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Bailey also played for Eastern Iowa Extreme in 2019, winning the 17 National Division at USAV Nationals. She has trained with Nick Lynch for over 5 years. Bailey is very excited to be coaching alongside him to help the setters grow and find their passion for volleyball in Select’s gym, just like she did!
