Kelly still is the current record holder for total assists  assists per set, and ace serves per set.

Upon graduating, Kelly returned to the area and coached at Davenport North High School as the head sophomore/assistant varsity coach. She's also coached at North Scott Junior High and Augustana College. Kelly, along with Shauna Cotton, also ran the PV Volleyball Club for two years.

Kelly works as an elementary school counselor for North Scott Schools. When she's not at work or down at the Volleyball Factory, she enjoys hiking, reading, playing pickleball, and shopping. She is married to Chad and they have three children, Liam, Carsyn, and Brogan.

In 2024 Kelly will be the presenter at Championship Productions Volleyball Coaches Clinic in Ames, Iowa.
