Sydney is entering her third year coaching 13 Black for Iowa Select.

She grew up in Bellevue, where volleyball has always been a major part of her life. Sydney began playing in second grade, started club volleyball at age 11, and played as a setter throughout her club career and all four years of varsity volleyball in high school.

With both of her parents coaching volleyball while she was growing up, her passion for the game began at an early age and has continued to grow ever since. She still enjoys traveling to play competitive adult volleyball whenever she has the opportunity.
