Spencer is excited to return to his roots and coach this upcoming club season, bringing years of competitive playing and coaching experience to the program.
A North Scott High School graduate, Spencer played for Iowa Select Volleyball Club and Iowa High Performance, where he earned a Gold Medal in Tulsa. He continued his playing career at Grand View University while also coaching the women's JV team to a conference championship.
Spencer has coached athletes at multiple levels, including a 13U girls High Performance team that earned a Silver Medal in Florida, 16U girls at Club Ignite Select, and 15U and 16U boys at Kaizen Volleyball Club in Oklahoma. During his two seasons with Kaizen, his teams won Regional Championships and competed in the Open Division at AAU Nationals.
Spencer is passionate about helping athletes grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game, and he looks forward to sharing that passion with players this season.
