Sophie will be in her second year coaching with Iowa Select. This season she is the 12 Black head coach. This will be her eighth season coaching club volleyball, coaching a variety of ages. She previously served as a student manager for two years with The University of Northern Iowa Women’s Volleyball team while in college.

Sophie started playing volleyball when she was eight years old and played until her senior year. She attended Monticello High School and played volleyball all four years while playing varsity for two years as a DS/Libero.

She currently is the 4th grade teacher in Delmar, Iowa. She enjoys working with young students and athletes. She can’t wait to come alongside her team and coach them this year!
