Sara will be entering her 4th year coaching, and her 3rd year coaching club at Iowa Select. Sara attended Davenport West High School where she earned First-Team All conference her senior year. She also holds two records at West High School for Kills per Season (223) and All Time Kills (402). She coached at Iowa Select from 2018-2020 while she attended Black Hawk College and played volleyball. During her time there, she received First Team All Conference honors in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, she was also selected as an All-American for the NJCAA Region IV.
Sara moved to Florida to continue her volleyball career at Webber International University where she played indoor and beach volleyball. During her time there, she won two AVCA National Championships in beach volleyball and placed 3rd twice in NAIA Beach Nationals.

Since moving back to the QC in 2023, Sara is earning her Master’s in Teaching through Western Illinois University. She has also been the head coach of the sophomore volleyball team at Rock Island High School for the past two years. Sara has coached 15 Black, 13 Black and is now the head coach of 16 Black for the 2025-2026 season.
