Nathan Zabel will serve as Head Coach of the 17 Reid team this season, bringing eight years of coaching experience and a deep background as a competitive libero. A three-year collegiate club athlete at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Nathan earned 2022 NVC All-Tournament Team honors and holds a degree in Management with a minor in Athletic Coaching. His coaching experience spans club and high school programs, including Platform Elite, Davenport Central, and Davenport North. Nathan continues to compete at a high level as a libero in the Volleyball League of America, entering his second season with the Tier 2 VLA team Frequency. His coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, defensive discipline, and building confident athletes prepared to compete at the next level.
