Amy (Schuster) Schubert

Iowa Select is very excited to have Amy (Schuster) Schubert back for her second year as a head coach! Amy brings a tremendous amount of coaching experience to the gym and likewise a tremendous playing career to support it. Coach Amy was the varsity head coach at North Scott from 2010-13 where she was the 2011 Mac coach of the year, won 2 Mac Championships, and lead her team in 2013 to the state qualifier. Since coaching in high school, she will not be entering her 6th season as a club coach. Amy grew up in Dubuque and played for Tom Keating at Dubuque Wahlert where she also won 2 state titles. After her high school career, she accepted an athletic scholarship with St. Ambrose University where she was a starter from 1993-1997. She ended her college career as a 3-yr All American, 3-yr Conference Player of the Year, and was also a hall of fame inductee in Ambrose Athletics. We are very excited for Amy's club team this year and the amount of growth her team will see.
