Alex will be entering her 7th season coaching club and her first season at Iowa Select as the 18 Mizuno Head Coach for the 2024-25 club season. Alex was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas where she grew up playing volleyball from a young age. Alex attended Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina where she was a member of the Women’s Volleyball team for 2 years. She played her last 2 years at Lake Erie College in Northeast Ohio.

Alex coached for Carolina Juniors in Charlotte and then at Eastside Volleyball Club in Ohio. After graduating from college she began her coaching career at Lake Erie College where she was the Assistant for 3 years. Alex was hired as the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL this past February 2024.

In addition to coaching at the Collegiate level Alex also works for CCSC and does camps all over the country. This past summer she was a part of the Iowa High Performance Program where she won a bronze medal with the 15U International team.
